Dr Baragry has been practising at Mermaid Central Medical Centre for over 4 years. He has a Masters of Sports Medicine (UQ) in addition to his RACGP Fellowship. Dr Baragry received his MBBS at the University of Queensland in 2005 and was a practising Veterinary Surgeon in Sydney before his medical career began. He is currently completing a fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine.
He has worked with numerous sporting clubs whilst on the Gold Coast providing medical support for Bond Rugby, Bond AFL, Broadbeach Cats, and Oceania Rugby Under 20’s tournament. Dr Baragry was a match day doctor and Athletes Village doctor at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He is a keen teacher and often has medical students from Griffith or Bond University sitting in with him.
Dr Baragry enjoys all aspects of general practice. He adopts a holistic approach to wellness and preventative healthcare.
